Tournament includes all NYS waterways, including ice, open water, tributaries, rivers, etc. Features seven categories: pike, walleye, pickerel, trout (brown, lake, rainbow/steelhead), crappie, perch, and pan-fish (sunfish, bluegill).
Entry fee is $25 per angler.
Family fun throughout the village includes an opening reception, snowshoe walk/run, skating, sled dogs, children’s activities, vendors, refreshments and more. Added to our Wing Walk Sunday and Chili Walk Saturday will be our Mac ‘n Cheese Walk on Friday night. Free admission. Ballots for the Walks $5.
The "Stone Wall" has evolved into one of the biggest snowshoe events in the country, and for good reason. With the powerful lake effect snow machine, unique awards, a snowshoe give away, and a fantastic post race party that includes complimentary hot foods, this is the "NOT TO MISS" event of the winter season.
Choose from a 5K citizen's distance that accommodates all ability levels, and is family friendly. Choose to race, run, or walk with friends. The 10K course is one you will never forget, and is designed for those who are very physically fit, as it is a challenge.
$15 for 14 years and under; $30 for 15 years and up.
Everyone from age three to 103 can easily learn to snowshoe. There will be a short lesson before the snowshoe wander through the Center’s woodlands. Enjoy a winter boot wander if there is a scarcity of snow.
Afterwards, all are invited to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. Snowshoes are provided free for program participants. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and in layers. Outdoor footwear or winter boots that can be strapped into a snowshoe should be worn.
$4 per person, $12 per family, children under 3 are free.
