Getting Happy in the Valley is a 30+ mile gravel race with a mixture of gravel and paved roads in and around the Happy Valley Game preserve, featuring a challenging finish and a party after that you’re not going to want to miss!
Depending on conditions, the course could be fast “or” feature a few “hike a bike” sections.
A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Williamstown Fire Department who will be assisting us in keeping everyone safe and fed after the race.

Conveniently located in downtown Oswego, NY, Murdock’s offers you a great selection of bicycles, clothing, parts, accessories, and more! We try to offer something for every cyclist at every level.
Murdock’s is also a full service repair center. We will work on any bicycle regardless of make or where purchased. Estimates are always free, and our rates are low and fair without surprises. We strive for a quick turn around time on most repairs, having them done the same day or next.
Beyond a complete bicycle store and service center, we also offer a complete Skateboard Shop in house. We are also a source for outdoor clothing, camping gear, winter sports equipment such as snowshoes, K9 gear, outdoor toys, and so much more.

There is no entry fee, but please bring a non-perishable item that can be donated to the Pulaski Lions Club’s Christmas Basket Program & the APW School Backpack Program. There will also be basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing…so bring a few extra dollars to join in the fun!
Refreshments and snacks at he finish line. Bibs for a race memento and ‘medals’ for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places.

We love Oswego county and riding in and around it, so much so that we decided this year to invite our friends over to “PLAY BICYCLES” with us and hang out after for a BBQ.
Depending on what challenge your up for we’re offering the following:
- The Buck = 100 miles with 3330 feet of climbing
- The Half Dollar = 50 miles with 1500 feet of climbing
- The Quarter = 25 miles with 800 feet of climbing

In 2014 when the local YMCA was no longer able to promote the Tour De Loop bicycle race, rather then lose a long running local event Ride Oswego County opted to take over promotion of the race. With a “few bumps in the road” the Tour De Loop was continued as a USA Cycling Sanctioned event with the goal of making it a safer and equally competitive event for all participants.
If you’re not familiar, the Tour De Loop takes place in Oswego County, rolling into Cayuga County on roads that offer a fair amount of climbing for the 30 and 50 miles a courses. Join us as we get bigger and better.

Winona Forest, located on the boundary of southern Jefferson County and northern Oswego County in Northern New York, is a 9,233-acre state forest that offers many recreational opportunities, including: snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, trapping, dog sledding, bird watching and horseback riding.
Winona Forest is one of the snowiest places east of the Rockies with an average snow fall of 250 inches per year! In winter, the prevailing westerly winds move cold winter air over the warm water of Lake Ontario producing massive lake effect snow falls on the Winona Forest in the Tug Hill area.
