Calendar of Events

This year we have a combined AMA District II Fly-In (18th annual) and 40th Annual STARS Model Air Show.

Back in 2002 STARS hosted the first AMA District II fun fly and picnic. After 17 years it has come back to STARS and Central New York!

Plenty of space for primitive camping and parking for RVs (no hookups). Friday arrivals are welcome, please contact us in advance.

Free pilot registration on the days of the event. AMA membership required.

Food concessions. Prize and 50/50 raffles. Swap shop. Both days open to the public.

Saturday, August 31

• 9 am pilot safety meeting and start of flying.
• Open flying all day.
• Free lunch for registered pilots!
• BBQ dinner and DJ Midnite Rambler

Sunday, September 1

• 10 am pilot safety meeting and start of flying.
• Traditional STARS Air Show program with open flying most of the day.
• Noon demonstration flights
