5K Run & Family Fun Mile to benefit Oswego County Humane Society.

Timed 5-K $25 (shirt)
Untimed 5-K $20 (shirt)

1 Mile Walk $20 (shirt)
Family Walk $35 (no shirt)

*Every registration includes a bandana
for your dog(s),beverages and a picnic lunch
(hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burger)

Raise Pledges & Win Prizes

  • $50 or more if you are under 14 to win special kids’ prizes
  • $100 or more for your choice from a grab-bag of gift certificates
  • To Collect Pledges
    • You can raise pledges using the form on the back.

Things to bring

  1. Your dog!!
  2. Your pledge sheet and money
  3. Current proof of rabies vaccination
  4. Your dog’s leash
  5. Plastic bag for doggie clean up
  6. Comfortable walking or running shoes

Walk/Run Route

The event will begin and end at Fallbrook Recreation Center. The 5K Run/Walk route will be on Fallbrook and Rice Creek trails. The 1 Mile Walk will also be a Fallbrook trail or on Thompson Road for families with strollers. All trails are well marked and groomed. Dogs are welcome to participle in their event.

Rules of this event

  1. Dogs must have current proof of rabies vaccination at the time of registration.
  2. Children 12 and under must have a parent or guardian with them.
  3. Your dog(s) must be leashed, and you must have control of your dog at all times.
  4. Individual may walk up to 2 dogs.
  5. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog.

Please remember to walk/run at a moderate pace (consider the weather and age of your dog). Dogs may be close together at times. Please take this into account when entering your best friend. The event director
reserves the right to refuse any dog that may be dangerous or disruptive to the event.

Encampment Fort Brewerton & the Oliver Stevens Blockhouse Museum


October 12, 2019

Schroth’s Company of Roger’s Rangers are returning to Fort Brewerton for another encampment! The Schroth's New York Company of Roger's Rangers will return to present a living history weekend designed to replicate life and the soldier's way in colonial America in the 1750s and 60s, They will also have elements of the 46th Regiment of Foot that portray a British Light infantry unit and an 18th century bateaux (boat) crew that will serve as the crew of the HMS Nettle. Each crew will give a living history of what it would be like at Fort Brewerton. Cooking, camp life, musket and cannon drills will be demonstrated as well as fire making and bush warfare. The public is welcome to attend and discover how life was truly lived here at Fort Brewerton during the 1700's.

Admission is free.

Encampment Fort Brewerton & the Oliver Stevens Blockhouse Museum

Schroth’s Company of Roger’s Rangers are returning to Fort Brewerton for another encampment!
