August 6, 2022Parish Olde Home Day is a community event held in the gazebo park at the corners of Rt 69 and Rt 69A in the Village of Parish. There will be 30+ vendors selling art, handmade items, honey, clothing, decorations, produce and so much more. There will be live music from Hellfish's Hank Cooper from Noon - 3:00 pm, Momma's Brunch Buggy food truck will be selling food for breakfast and lunch, a race car to check out, as well as youth and community groups and a travel agent with deals on trips. Local businesses will be there too, raffling off services and showing you what they can do. Come out and support local, bring a lawn chair or buy a detailed macrame one at the event! Shop, sit back and relax with lunch and listen to some music, all while connecting with old friends and new. We hope to see you there!

August 6, 2022The Schroeppel Historical Society invites the public to Open House Saturdays and Garage Sale each Saturday through August with a docent on hand to answer visitors' questions .The 112 year- old- building, formerly St. John's Episcopal Church, boasts an impressive carved chestnut altar piece and original stained glass windows which light the building beautifully during the summer months. The exterior and interior of the building have been repaired and accurately preserved in keeping with its English Country Gothic architecture. Current and former residents of Phoenix, and the Shineman Foundation funded these improvements. The weekly garage sale, featuring quality items, will contribute to the final cost for basement stability Fund.

August 19, 2022 – August 20, 2022To celebrate the city of Fulton’s history, and one of the industries that helped the city prosper during the early 20th century, the Friends of History in Fulton is once again holding the Hunter Arms Homecoming, slated for Friday, August 19, and Saturday, August 20. The two-day event consists of displays set up in the John Wells Pratt House Museum, along with a shooting competition that takes place at Pathfinder Fish and Game Club on Saturday. The festivities will wrap up with a banquet Saturday evening at Tavern on the Lock in Fulton, NY. For more information, contact Theresa Jones at 315-598-4616.
