Oswego Museum Will Celebrate WWII Veterans

OSWEGO – The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the National Historic Landmark WWII tug LT-5 on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Captain Lance Knapp will give a presentation at 2 p.m. on the tug’s World War II history, followed by a special celebration of WWII veterans.

If you or a family member are a World War II veteran and would like to attend this special event, please RSVP by Aug. 18 to the H. Lee White Museum at 315-342-0480.  This anniversary celebration is open to the public with special free admission to the museum all day for all veterans.
