Saturday Arts Market debuts at CNY Arts Center

The Community Arts Center in Fulton announces a new Arts Market to run concurrent with the Farmer’s Market each Saturday in Fulton, from 9-noon on sunny Saturdays. Artists and art vendors are invited to apply for booth space at the new market to be held outside the Arts Center and on the sidewalk leading to the parking lot where the Farmer’s Market will be held. The Arts Center is located at 121 Cayuga St in downtown Fulton.

“We think this is a natural extension of the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings,” said Executive Director Nancy Fox. “We’re on a one-way street and it’s a perfect location for strolling and enjoying artists of all types. We need artists looking to set up a table and share their art. We will run all summer on good weather Saturdays as long as there is artist interest. We hope to attract folks to see the art and expand their time spent downtown.

“We are committed to our role to be an anchor downtown and are eager to bring attention to the arts in our community and our lovely downtown venues. It’s a good time to drop in for lunch at a local restaurant or simply enjoy the views and the river. We are excited about the possibilities.

“We’d like to launch the Arts Market on Saturday, June 15th, weather and artists permitting. Farmer’s Market shoppers should look for A-Frames with arrows pointing the way on Arts Market days.”

Artists must be registered through the Arts Center to set up and will need to provide their own tables and displays. For more information contact or call 315-598-2787.
