The Oswego Music Hall presents its First Youth (16 and under) Open Mic

OSWEGO – The Oswego Music Hall is proud to announce anew addition to their programming, offering a youth Open Mic beginning Friday March 24th from 6:30 pm -7:30 pm.

The Oswego Music Hall Youth Open Mic is an opportunity for young performers, up to age 16, to build their performance skills on the National Stage with top of the line sound equipment and a supportive audience. The Oswego Music Hall will have a “House Band” available for young performers to utilize if they wish to do so. Audio recordings of each performance will be available for a small fee for any performer interested in a record of their performance. The signup sheet will be available online and slots will fill up on a first come, first serve basis. Contact Gina Holsopple at with any questions. The Youth Open Mic will run every two weeks through May 5.

Performers and their fans are encouraged to stay after the event and enjoy the talent of other regional performers as they entertain on the open mic stage.

Bring the entire family to enjoy the efforts of these budding stars at the all-volunteer Music Hall venue, located in the McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego. The atmosphere is intimate with candle-lit tables surrounding a small stage. Donations are accepted and snacks, popcorn and beverages are available for purchase.

Music Hall concerts are made possible in part with funding by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. For more information access the Music Hall website:
