Reservations for the tours are required in advance; tickets  are available for purchase in the museum shop inside the old stone fort during normal business hours or by phone (315-343-4711). All proceeds benefit the activities and educational programs of the not-for-profit group Friends of Fort Ontario.

Participants are encouraged to bring flashlights and dress for colder and windier weather conditions along the lake shore.
