Hi friends! 👋 Your pal Ozzy is back for another holiday season! 🎉Santa was testing out his Clausometer, so I decided to hop on the sled and show him all of the holiday spirit that Oswego County has!
I hopped out of the sleigh in Mexico and saw some of the preparation for Christmas in Mexico, NY, which takes place on December 6. It seems like everyone participates! I stopped at the Starr Clark Tin Shop & Underground Rail Road to see their beautiful sleigh ... it`s just like Santa`s! And I got to see a very old metal Christmas tree. They also had an old bell outside, and everyone knows that bells are festive! I stopped to see the fun things and have a delicious beverage at Books & Brew, which will he holding a vendor fair on Saturday. And I stopped to see my friends at Cornell Cooperative Extension Oswego County. They will be holding their annual Holiday Farmers` Market at the Mexico VFW Post 369 Auxiliary on Saturday.
If you can`t wait until Saturday for holiday fun in Mexico, the village will be holding their tree lighting on December 5 at 5 p.m. at the gazebo on Main Street. Guys, I saw the tree and it`s ginormous! It gets the Ozzy stamp of approval! There is also a spot at the gazebo to drop letters to Santa. I promise he`ll read all of them before Christmas. 🎅
My friends in the tourism office have included a schedule in the photos for Christmas in Mexico, NY. There will be festive fun for everyone! Personally, I am excited for the lighted parade at 5 p.m.
I cannot wait to visit more places and meet more new friends during my visit this season! 🎄

🎣 Tuesday, November 11 is the last free fishing day in New York for 2025. The steelhead are here and it`s the perfect opportunity to catch the chrome!
While you will not need a license to fish on Tuesday, all other rules and regulations will still apply.

One of the saddest days is when we see numbers in the 300s on the @superdirtcar Super DIRT Week countdown!
What an incredible four days of racing at the Clay Palace! The weather was dry(!). The fans were amazing. The vibes were off-the-charts. The racing was some of the best we`ve seen.
We`ll see you in 355 days from October 5-10, 2026 for Super DIRT Week 54! 🏁

🏁 The @superdirtcar Super DIRT Week parade is one of our favorite events! It`s a great chance for the community to wish drivers luck as they head into racing action for the weekend.
The parade just ended and we already cannot wait for next year!
