Celebrate Mother's Day in Oswego County!

Families! Do you need some great ideas to let mom know just how wonderful she is? Look no further! Spoil her this Mother’s Day for all she does! After you read through the ideas, it is suggested that you make appointments or reservations in advance to make sure the day runs smoothly. Or consider a gift card for a future date so she can unwind and recharge.

Mother’s Day Prep  – Day Before

This is a day early but critical to the success of the day!  To ensure a spectacular Mother’s Day and make mom feel special and loved, you need to do a little prep the day before. You have a few stops to make, in no particular order, to pick up a few things to get the day started right.  Also, have the kiddos or others make some homemade cards to give with the items that will be picked up.  Nothing feels more heartfelt than a hand made card or drawing!

Ontario Orchards – 7735 St NY 104, Oswego Town

This is one of the largest nurseries in Oswego County so pick mom up a gift for the big day tomorrow.  A gorgeous overflowing hanging basket if she prefers flowers and she can still enjoy the blooms into fall.  Or consider an herb pot if she likes to cook.  A tree to plant in the yard that she can enjoy for years to come would also be a lovely option too.  Stop in and pick something out!

Stone’s Candies – 23 W Seneca St., Oswego

A little bit of fine chocolate will go a long way.  Select a handmade sweet treat for mom to enjoy during her special day or even a few days after.  Stone’s artisan chocolates are a local favorite and with such  a huge selection, you will be sure to find something she loves!

Mother’s Day Ideas

Let mom sleep in and wake up when she is ready. She can indulge and start her day feeling cherished and pampered.

Once she is up and moving, share the homemade card(s) and gift her your pick(s) from Ontario Orchards and Stone’s Candy.  Then share with her the day’s plan so she can prepare.
