Genealogical collection by family, photographic collection of Orwell people, locations and businesses (currently available for on-site viewing only); photocopies of Orwell census for the years 1850, 1860,1870, 1875, 1892 and 1905 (quality of photocopies is not the best); typed transcription of the 1855 Orwell census; assessment rolls dating back to 1853 are available for viewing, not copying, only as permissible by state and federal regulation
