Fort Ontario Lantern Tours return for the fall season offering candlelit walking tours through the Historic site and post cemetery in Oswego. Guided by costumed interpreters these after-dark tours feature historical myths, legends, and grim tales from the fort’s past

Fort Ontario 1 East 4th St., Oswego, Wednesdays: Sept. 30, October 7, and October 14, 7 – 8:30p.m.

Cost: $20 per person: To reserve you spot, call Fort Ontario directly at (315) 343-4711, remaining tickets are sold at the gate on first-come first serve basis. Due to adult themes (violence, murder, domestic disputes), children are generally not recommended under the age of 13.

Dress according to weather and for walking on uneven terrain. Also, due to limited number of candle lanterns participants are encouraged to bring their own lanterns or flashlights.
